Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in commissioning and start-up of WTP, STP, RO, UF, and ETP systems. The candidate will be responsible for plant commissioning, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and successful handover of projects to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute commissioning and start-up activities for WTP, STP, RO, UF, and ETP plants.
- Verify installation of equipment as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct trial runs, testing, and performance evaluation of treatment systems.
- Troubleshoot process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues during commissioning.
- Ensure smooth operation and stabilization of plants before handover.
- Coordinate with project, electrical, and client teams for timely completion of commissioning activities.
- Prepare commissioning reports, checklists, SOPs, and handover documents.
- Train operators and client personnel on plant operation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Provide post-commissioning support and technical assistance when required.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in WTP, STP, RO, UF, and ETP commissioning.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID, process flow diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and client coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3–5 years in water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and timely project execution.
