Mission
At Thinkproject, we rely on NetSuite as a core system for Finance and wider business operations. As a NetSuite Administrator (f/m/d), you will own the day-to-day administration of the platform and deliver light-to-medium technical enhancements so teams can work efficiently, accurately and with confidence.
This is an in-house, non-customer-facing role blending platform ownership with hands-on maintenance: Workflows/ approvals, saved searches and dashboards, integrations, and some light SuiteScript development.
Working closely with stakeholders across Finance and IT, you will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, supporting business users, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders to enhance system functionality and data integrity.
Main Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Ownership:
- Own NetSuite administration: roles/permissions, access controls, and system security.
- Maintain environments (production and sandboxes), release readiness, system health monitoring and basic performance tuning.
- Manage master data standards (customers, vendors, items, chart segments) and support data quality through controls and validation.
- Build and maintain saved searches, dashboards and reports to support operational and finance reporting needs.
Development & Automation:
- Design and optimise workflows and approvals (SuiteFlow), minimising customisation when standard NetSuite can meet the need.
- Support automation across key processes (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R) with a focus on auditability and maintainability.
Integrations & Data:
- Manage integrations using SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP) and/or middleware, ensuring resilient error handling and monitoring.
- Coordinate inbound/ outbound data flows, mapping, transformation and reconciliation with source/target system owners.
- Support data imports and migrations using CSV import tools and scripts; plan and execute data fixes safely.
Testing, Release & Change Management:
- Define test scenarios and scripts for unit testing, system testing and UAT; support users during UAT and defect triage.
- Package and deploy changes (scripting, workflows, configuration) using agreed methods (e.g., SuiteBundler/ SDF where applicable).
- Maintain clear documentation for changes, and follow Thinkproject change management, security and compliance expectations.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work and improve data integrity within NetSuite.
- Keep current with NetSuite releases and SuiteCloud best practices; recommend improvements and share knowledge with the team.
Risk:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to access control, data protection, integrations and operational resilience.
- Support audits and controls by ensuring changes are traceable, approvals are enforced and audit trails are maintained.
