Role: Presales engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Presales Engineer role based in Bengaluru with 30% travel within India. The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, design suitable infrastructure solutions, and prepare technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations. The role includes engaging directly with customers, conducting technical evaluations, and providing solution architecture across security frameworks that include SASE, SSE, SIEM/SOAR, DLP , MDM, IAM/PAM, DSPM etc. The Presales Engineer will engage with customers to clarify technical queries, conduct proof-of-concept deployments, and support integration planning to ensure feasibility and alignment with business needs. The role also involves collaborating with delivery teams, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and vendor offerings, and contributing to internal documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
- At least 5-6 years of work experience in the security domain.
- Strong presales and sales support capabilities, including solution design, proposal preparation, and customer presentations.
- Technical support and troubleshooting skills across infrastructure solutions, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, customer-friendly language.
- Hands-on experience with the latest technologies in the security domain.
- Knowledge of security principles and practices related to information security, network security, and secure solution design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with major OEM technologies and platforms in security domain. Specialization in one or two will be an added advantage
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
