Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring timely compliance with applicable financial and statutory requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, cash, and bank transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and account statements.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor expenses, payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and management.
- Verify invoices, bills, payments, and supporting documents.
- Monitor branch accounts and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Provide financial information and support to management when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
