What a Transport Incharge does
- Manages daily vehicle operations (trucks, buses, delivery vans, etc.)
- Assigns routes and schedules drivers
- Keeps records of fuel, maintenance, and trips
- Ensures compliance with transport rules and safety
- Handles breakdowns, delays, and coordination with vendors
Skills you should have
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, records)
- Good coordination and communication
- Knowledge of local routes and transport rules
- Ability to manage drivers and handle problems quickly
Basic requirements
- 12th pass or graduate (depends on company)
- Experience: 1–5 years preferred
