Job Description
Statfield India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Design Manager – Mechanical to lead the mechanical design and product development function.
The candidate should have strong experience in design development, SPMs, sheet metal and structural fabrication, along with experience in managing a design team and handling complete product development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the complete product development cycle from design and development to prototyping, testing and manufacturing.
Manage and guide the mechanical design team for electro-mechanical products.
Develop and review 2D and 3D engineering designs.
Work on SPMs, sheet metal and structural fabrication projects.
Conduct design analysis, testing and evaluation of products.
Identify design-related issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
Evaluate product performance, reliability and safety.
Improve and modify designs while maintaining quality and product specifications.
Work closely with manufacturing and other teams to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
Estimate project scope and budget.
Prepare technical reports and product documentation.
Apply DFM, DFA and Lean Design principles wherever required.
Requirements
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
15–20 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and development.
Strong experience in SPMs, sheet metal and structural fabrication.
Experience in leading and managing a mechanical design team.
Good hands-on knowledge of 2D/3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Creo/ProE, SolidWorks or equivalent.
Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials and manufacturing processes.
Experience with FEA and simulation tools.
Good knowledge of DFM, DFA and Lean Design.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay: ₹11,857.21 - ₹47,112.54 per month
