1. Workshop Operations Management
- Supervise daily activities in the workshop.
- Allocate repair and maintenance jobs to technicians.
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain smooth workflow and minimize delays.
2. Technician Supervision
- Guide and support technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Ensure technicians follow standard operating procedures.
- Monitor productivity and efficiency.
- Provide on-the-job training when required.
3. Quality Control
- Check repair quality before vehicle delivery.
- Ensure manufacturer standards are followed.
- Verify that customer complaints have been properly addressed.
- Reduce repeat repairs and comebacks.
4. Coordination with Service Advisors
- Review job cards and repair requirements.
- Update service advisors on job status and additional work needed.
- Assist in resolving technical issues.
5. Resource and Parts Management
- Coordinate with the spare parts department.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work bays are available.
- Monitor proper use of workshop resources.
6. Safety and Housekeeping
- Enforce workshop safety standards.
- Ensure technicians use proper safety equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop floor.
7. Customer Support (When Needed)
- Assist service advisors in explaining technical issues to customers.
- Handle complex technical concerns and escalations.
