Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly motivated Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our healthcare revenue cycle team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of credentials—holding a CPB (Certified Professional Biller) certification with 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience, alongside a newly acquired or foundational CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification.
This is a hybrid role based out of Noida, offering the flexibility of working both from home and our local office. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of medical codes, smooth claim submissions, and proactive revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Billing & Claims Management: Oversee the submission of medical claims to insurance payers, review rejections, and manage the full reimbursement cycle utilizing your CPB expertise.
- Medical Coding: Apply your CPC training to review clinical documentation and ensure accurate assignment.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze billing workflows, track unpaid claims, and identify patterns in denials to improve first-pass acceptance rates.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate digital records and communicate professionally with insurance companies, providers, or internal teams regarding billing discrepancies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Certifications: Must hold both valid CPB and CPC credentials from AAPC.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of active experience specifically in medical billing/revenue cycle management.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent, professional spoken and written English.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data sorting, basic formulas) and Microsoft Word.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for finding and fixing billing/coding discrepancies.
Work Environment & Location
- Location: Preferred candidates residing in Noida or nearby Delhi NCR areas.
- Work Model: Hybrid (split between remote work and mandatory in-office days at our Noida location).
