Oversee the human resources and administrative functions of the organisation by ensuring effective workforce planning, strong HR systems, statutory compliance, people development and efficient administration to support business growth and plant operations.
Experience
- 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing HR and administration for manufacturing or plant operations
- Expertise in statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Factory Act, Contract Labour Act, etc.)
- Experience in managing contractor and outsourced workforce
Key Responsibilities
Talent acquisition and workforce planning
- Define the organisation structure in line with business objectives and keep it updated
- Oversee hiring and onboarding as per head office and plant manpower requirements and organisation structure
- Ensure timely filling of open positions across functions in line with the competencies required
Contractor and outsourced workforce management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard third-party manpower contractors
- Establish clear SLAs with contractors covering manpower availability, shift commitments, and replacement timelines
- Implement a system for prior-day/ same-day attendance confirmation from contractors and penalties for last-minute absenteeism or non-fulfilment
- Ensure backup arrangements by empanelling multiple contractors to avoid dependency on a single source
- Ensure that the contractors have valid licences and comply to all statutory norms
- Monitor contractor performance on attendance reliability, productivity, and discipline, and conduct periodic reviews with contractors to take corrective actions for non-performance
Payroll and compensation management
- Ensure payroll processing in full compliance with statutory requirements, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement
- Oversee sales team reimbursements and allowance disbursement as per policy
- Monitor and benchmark compensation structures as per market standards
Performance management and appraisals
- Establish and oversee performance evaluation frameworks based on well defined KPIs
- Drive structured appraisal processes across the organisation that are linked to performance outcomes
Statutory compliance
- Oversee compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements including payments and returns (PF, ESI, etc.)
Plant and office administration and security
- Oversee upkeep of plant and office infrastructure
- Ensure security of plant and office premises
- Ensure effective management of housekeeping, security, and utilities
Policy management and governance
- Oversee formulation, implementation, and maintenance of policies across the organization
- Ensure consistent policy communication and implementation across corporate and plant locations
Employee development, engagement and culture building
- Identify training needs and oversee capability development initiatives
- Oversee team building initiatives and conduct employee engagement programs
MIS
- Prepare and circulate reports as per requirements
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
