Hydraulics Routing Engineer
Candidate must have experience in Hydraulics Routing for Tractor domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop hydraulic hose and tube routing layouts in 3D using NX.
- Perform packaging and installation studies for hydraulic components such as:
- Hoses and tubes
- Fittings and adapters
- Clamps and brackets
- Valves, tanks, pumps, and manifolds
- Ensure routing feasibility considering:
- Minimum bend radius requirements
- Clearance and clash management
- Assembly and service access
- Heat zones, moving parts, and abrasion areas
- Proper clamping and support locations
- Select suitable hydraulic fittings and adapters based on installation requirements.
- Prepare and update 2D drawings, routing layouts, and installation documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (CFT) including:
- Sheet metal team
- Linkage team
- Electrical routing team
- Participate in packaging reviews and support issue resolution during design releases.
- Follow internal routing standards and packaging guidelines.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and hydraulic components.
- Knowledge of hydraulic hose and tube routing practices.
- Understanding of hose bend radius and routing limitations.
- Familiarity with hydraulic fittings and adapters (JIC, ORFS, BSP, etc.).
- Ability to identify routing clashes and packaging issues.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability considerations.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional engineering environment.
Software Requirement
- Mandatory experience in NX 3D modelling and routing.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in hydraulic routing, packaging, or installation engineering preferred.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
