Job Summary
We are looking for a certified Broker Qualified Person (BQP) to join our insurance broking team. The ideal candidate should possess a valid IRDAI Broker Qualified Person certification and have sound knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, regulatory compliance, and customer relationship management. The role involves identifying client insurance needs, providing suitable insurance solutions, coordinating with insurers, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with IRDAI regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Identify clients' insurance requirements and recommend appropriate life, health, motor, and general insurance products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients.
- Source new business through referrals, networking, and direct client interactions.
- Prepare quotations by coordinating with insurance companies and compare suitable products for clients.
- Assist clients throughout the policy lifecycle, including proposal submission, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and claims support.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of proposals.
- Maintain complete client records and policy documentation.
- Stay updated with insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines, company policies, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for underwriting, policy servicing, and claim-related matters.
- Provide prompt after-sales service to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business reports as required by management.
Eligibility Criteria
- Valid IRDAI Broker Qualified Person (BQP) Certification is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in insurance broking, insurance sales, or insurance operations preferred.
- Fresh certified BQPs with strong communication skills may also be considered.
