About the role
You'll own SEO across a portfolio of ~20 websites. This is a scale role — success comes from strong prioritization, repeatable processes, and clean reporting, not from touching every page by hand. You should be comfortable deciding where your hours move the needle most across many sites.
Responsibilities
- Run on-page, technical, and off-page SEO across ~20 websites
- Keyword research, search intent mapping, and content briefs at scale
- Technical audits and fixes: crawlability, indexation, site speed/Core Web Vitals, schema/structured data, internal linking
- Track and improve visibility in both classic search and AI-driven search (Google AI Overviews, LLM/chat answers) — often called GEO/AEO
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards (rankings, traffic, conversions) so stakeholders can see performance per site
- Competitor and content-gap analysis; identify quick wins vs. strategic bets
- Coordinate with content writers, developers, and paid teams
Requirements
- 2–4+ years hands-on SEO experience (adjust to your seniority need)
- Proven results managing multiple websites simultaneously
- Strong technical SEO fundamentals (schema, CWV, indexation, log/crawl analysis)
- Fluent with GA4, Google Search Console, and at least one major tool (Ahrefs / SEMrush / Screaming Frog)
- Understanding of how AI search and generative answers are changing SEO in 2025–26
- Comfortable with spreadsheets/data and clear written reporting
Nice to have
- Programmatic SEO, WordPress at scale, basic HTML/CSS, GTM, Looker Studio, experience in your industry vertical
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
