Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to provide high-quality medical care to admitted and OPD patients. The RMO will assist consultants in patient management, monitor clinical progress, handle emergencies, and ensure accurate medical documentation while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and examine OPD and IPD patients.
- Monitor admitted patients and maintain daily progress notes.
- Assist consultants during ward rounds and implement treatment plans.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide immediate stabilization.
- Prescribe medications as per hospital protocols and consultant guidance.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Review laboratory and radiology reports and inform consultants about critical findings.
- Perform routine medical procedures such as IV cannulation, catheterization, suturing, NG tube insertion, and other bedside procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement activities.
Eligibility
- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS from a recognized medical college.
- Valid State Medical Council/NMC Registration.
- Freshers as well as experienced RMOs can apply.
- Experience in Oncology, ICU, Emergency, or Internal Medicine will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability.

- Good communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Team player with a patient-centric approach.
- Basic computer and EMR/HMS knowledge.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
