Job Description – RSM, ASM & SO positions

Requirements
· Experience: 5 to 8 years of field sales experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 2–3 years managing a small team or handling key distribution territories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Target & Revenue Management
· Drive Distributor & Retails sales
· Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans aligned with the company's Business Operating Plan (BOP).
· Forecast monthly volume and SKU-level requirements for local warehouses or depots.
2. Distribution & Channel Management
· Appoint, manage, and evaluate new distributors in vacant or undeveloped territories.
· Ensure optimal stock rotation, product availability, and shelf visibility across retail outlets.
· Implement trade marketing schemes, promotional offers, and new product launches (GTM - Go-To-Market norms).
3. Team Leadership & Field Coaching
· Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate TSEs/Sales Officers.
· Conduct regular joint field work (JFW) for on-the-job coaching and performance reviews.
· Track team productivity, monitor daily beat plans, and ensure incentive achievement targets are met.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
· Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, schemes, and new launches within the territory.
· Submit regular MIS reports, daily visit summaries, and market feedback to senior leadership.
