- About the Role
We are looking for a highly responsible, trustworthy, and proactive Housekeeper & Villa Caretaker to manage and maintain our premium Airbnb villas. This is a full-time, live-in position that requires the candidate to be available on-site and responsive to guest needs throughout the day.
The ideal candidate should have prior housekeeping experience, excellent cleanliness standards, and a strong sense of ownership. This role is critical to ensuring guests have an exceptional experience and that the villas are maintained in perfect condition at all times.
- Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping & Cleaning
- Perform daily cleaning of all rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, balconies, and outdoor spaces.
- Ensure villas are cleaned and prepared before every guest check-in.
- Perform deep cleaning as required.
- Change and organize bed linens, towels, and guest amenities.
- Ensure all furniture, appliances, fixtures, and décor remain clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor cleanliness standards and maintain hotel-level presentation.
Guest Management
- Welcome guests during check-in when required.
- Assist guests with basic requests and villa-related information.
- Remain available to address guest concerns and requirements promptly.
- Coordinate with management regarding special guest requests.
- Ensure guests have a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
Property Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of the property.
- Report maintenance issues immediately.
- Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, gardeners, and other vendors when required.
- Ensure all appliances, lights, plumbing fixtures, and equipment are functioning properly.
- Monitor inventory and stock levels of cleaning supplies and guest consumables.
Laundry & Linen Management
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize bed sheets, pillow covers, towels, and other linens.
- Maintain linen inventory and report shortages.
- Ensure fresh linen is always available for incoming guests.
Inventory & Supplies
- Track and maintain stock of cleaning materials, toiletries, drinking water, and guest supplies.
- Assist with purchasing supplies when required.
- Prevent wastage and maintain proper records of inventory usage.
Security & Property Care
- Ensure the villa remains secure at all times.
- Monitor access to the property.
- Immediately report any damage, suspicious activity, or emergencies.
- Take ownership of the overall upkeep and smooth functioning of the property.
- RequirementsEssential
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel operations, guest house management, Airbnb operations, or similar roles.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English and Hindi.
- Strong cleaning and organizational skills.
- Honest, dependable, and responsible.
- Willingness to stay on-site and manage the property full-time.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good attitude and guest-friendly personality.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu is an added advantage.
- Experience working in hotels, resorts, homestays, villas, or Airbnb properties.
- Basic maintenance knowledge is a plus.
- Valid driving license preferred.

This is not a standard housekeeping job. The selected candidate will play a key role in the overall operation and success of the Airbnb villas.
