Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Project Manager with a strong background in managing end-to-end retail projects including store planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of interior fit-outs, store renovations, and new store launches. In short, candidates must oversee the execution of retail store projects from concept to planning to completion. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organizational and client-facing skills, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality retail spaces on time and within budget
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management from concept handover to store opening of retail store setups, renovations and rollouts. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely execution. Monitor project budgets, timelines, quality standards, site safety and deliverables across multiple locations. Manage vendors, contractors, fabricators, and suppliers for fixtures, finishes, graphics, and MEP works. Conduct site visits, track progress, and resolve on-site issues proactively. Liaise with clients, landlords, mall management, and brand teams for approvals and compliance. Ensure store layouts, VM guidelines, and brand standards are executed accurately. Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety standards and company standards. Manage procurement schedules and oversee material deliveries. Prepare regular status reports, site photographs and completion updates with stakeholders. Conduct site inspections and ensure final project handover, snag list closure, and post-opening support if required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in managing retail fit-out projects or related fields. Proven track record of managing multiple retail fit-out or store construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes or methods, project lifecycle, design coordination, and vendor management. Experience with brands, malls, or high-end retail is a plus. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
