Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Society Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of residential societies. The ideal candidate will coordinate with managing committees, residents, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth society operations, timely maintenance, and high service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of assigned residential societies.
- Coordinate with the Managing Committee (MC) and attend committee meetings.
- Address resident complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Supervise housekeeping, security, gardening, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance staff.
- Coordinate with vendors and monitor service quality as per SLAs.
- Conduct regular inspections of society premises and common facilities.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Monitor utility services including water supply, DG backup, lifts, and common area lighting.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for maintenance collections, vendor payments, and financial reports.
- Ensure statutory compliances, AMC renewals, licenses, and documentation are maintained.
- Maintain records of complaints, work orders, incidents, and service requests using the MyGate platform.
- Prepare monthly operational reports and present updates to the committee.
- Handle emergency situations professionally and coordinate with relevant service providers.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of residential society operations.
- Experience in vendor and facility management.
- Ability to resolve resident issues with professionalism.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and maintenance billing.
- Familiarity with MyGate or similar society management software is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA or Facility Management qualification is an added advantage).
- 2–5 years of experience in society management, facility management, property management, or operations.
- Candidates with experience in residential societies will be preferred.
