Position: Business Development Executive – Baking & Finance Sector
Job Summary
The Business Development Executive – Student Business (B2C) will be responsible for directly engaging with students and parents planning overseas education. The role focuses on guiding them through the complete foreign remittance process for tuition fees and living expenses. The incumbent will manage end-to-end customer interactions, including pre-sales, sales, and post-sales support, while also contributing to revenue growth through cross-selling of allied services.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent & Parent Engagement (B2C)
- Act as the primary point of contact for students and parents for overseas education-related remittances.
- Handhold customers through the entire remittance lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience.
- Collect, verify, and ensure submission of all mandatory documents required for foreign remittance.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Follow up with students for semester-wise tuition fees and living expense remittances (typically two cycles per year).
- Maximize margins per transaction while maintaining transparency and customer trust.
- Cross-sell value-added services such as education loans, visa facilitation, and insurance to increase overall revenue.
Customer Education & Relationship Building
- Conduct webinars and virtual sessions for students and parents to explain forex rates, remittance processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Address customer queries and concerns proactively to build long-term relationships and repeat business.
Channel & Business Expansion
- Collaborate with education consultants to support student conversions and increase inbound student referrals.
- Contribute to expanding presence in the student remittance market through consistent B2C outreach.

- Organize targeted number of webinars with each onboarded consultant.
Qualities & Attributes
- 2+ years of experience in Overseas Education Consulting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with students, parents, and educational consultants.
- Proficiency in market research, lead generation, and sales funnel management.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
