An Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry manages, maintains, and troubleshoots critical power distribution, automation, and manufacturing equipment under strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Systems Maintenance: Supervise and maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and Motor Control Center (MCC) panels.
· Breakdown & Root Cause Analysis: Perform rapid electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize unplanned downtime and prevent batch loss.
· Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled planned preventive maintenance using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
· Automation Support: Troubleshoot and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and SCADA control networks.
· Utilities & Cleanrooms: Support critical life-science infrastructure such as HVAC, purified water systems, and clean steam generators.
· Compliance & Documentation: Maintain strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and handle validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for regulatory audits (USFDA, WHO). []
· Safety Protocols: Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, work permits, and general electrical safety standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B. Tech) or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
· Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience within a regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
· Technical Competencies: Strong reading capability for electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control circuit diagrams.
· Soft Skills: Problem-solving, cross-functional coordination with Quality Assurance (QA), and vendor management.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
