We are looking for a Business Analyst (Post-Sales) to work closely with clients after project onboarding, gather detailed requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and support the delivery team throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in IT/Software Development, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
### Client Requirement Management
* Conduct detailed requirement-gathering sessions with clients after sales handover.
* Analyze client business processes, workflows, and objectives.
* Convert client needs into clear requirement documents (BRD, SRS, Use Cases, User Stories).
* Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in client requirements.
### Project Coordination & Documentation
* Create and maintain functional specifications, process flows, and mockups/wireframes.
* Collaborate with the development, QA, and UI/UX teams to ensure accurate implementation.
* Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and feature prioritization.
* Manage change requests and ensure proper impact analysis and documentation.
### Client Communication & Delivery Support
* Act as the primary liaison between client and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide product demonstrations and clarifications when required.
* Assist clients with onboarding, configuration, and user training.
* Address queries, coordinate issue resolution, and maintain client satisfaction.
### Quality & Validation
* Review test cases prepared by QA teams for functional accuracy.
* Validate product functionalities before delivering to the client.
* Ensure timely delivery of features aligned with client expectations.
### Reporting & Tracking
* Prepare status reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
* Track project progress, delays, risk areas, and escalations.
* Maintain all requirement and documentation updates throughout the lifecycle.
## Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar field.
* 1–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development environment.
* Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Experience preparing BRDs, SRS, user stories, workflows, and wireframes.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills.
* Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, MS Office, or similar platforms.
* Knowledge of API documentation, SQL basics, and data mapping.
* Experience managing client interactions post-sales or during project delivery.
