Location: Ahmedabad
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import and export operations, including documentation, shipping, and customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, DGFT regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, and suppliers for timely shipments.
- Prepare and verify invoices, packing lists, LC documents, and other statutory paperwork.
- Track shipments, update MIS reports, and maintain accurate records of import/export transactions.
- Negotiate with vendors and logistics partners to optimize costs and delivery timelines.
- Liaise with internal departments (sales, accounts, production) to align supply chain requirements.
- Monitor government policies, duty structures, and export incentives relevant to renewable energy products.
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce/International Business/Logistics or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in import–export operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, EXIM documentation, and international trade compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
