About the role :
We are looking for a creative Junior Motion Designer & Video Editor to create high-quality, engaging visual content similar to modern tech product explainers. You will be responsible for turning concepts into sleek, professional videos that combine clean graphic design with fluid motion. This role is perfect for someone who is a "Generalist"—part graphic designer, part motion enthusiast, and part editor.
Key Responsibilities
- Motion Graphics: Design and animate typography, icons, and UI elements to explain complex features clearly.
- Asset Creation: Create or adapt vector illustrations and layouts (using Illustrator/Figma) for use in video projects.
- Video Assembly: Edit raw screen recordings or stock footage and blend them seamlessly with custom animations.
- Sound Design: Source and edit background scores and SFX that enhance the "flow" and impact of the video.
- Style Consistency: Maintain a clean, professional "SaaS" aesthetic across all video assets.
Required Technical Skills
- Adobe After Effects: Mastery of keyframing, easing, and the use of "null objects" or "cameras" for 2D movement.
- Adobe Premiere Pro: For final stitching, color correction, and audio syncing.
- Adobe Illustrator / Figma: Ability to create or edit vector graphics before bringing them into motion.
- Visual Timing: A strong sense of rhythm—knowing exactly when a text pop-up should land to keep the viewer engaged.
Preferred Qualifications
- A portfolio or showreel that demonstrates clean typography and smooth transitions (rather than just vlogs or cinematic edits).
- Experience with "Explainer Video" styles (whiteboard, 2D vector, or UI-focused videos).
- Ability to work independently and take a project from a rough script to a polished final render.
