Job description:
- Prepare, and place purchase orders for raw materials and laboratory consumables. Review purchase orders to ensure product cost, payment terms, product information, and delivery information are accurate
- Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers for order finalization and import raw materials through ocean freight
- Coordinate with teams to place orders as per weekly and monthly raw material planning
- Follow up with raw material suppliers on regular basis to ensure shipment and delivery on promised dates
- Maintain physical and digital records of purchases and related documentation. Record price movements of key raw materials on monthly basis
- Update supplier register on monthly to track raw material purchases
Candidate Profile
- Any Graduate degree
- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures including imports
- Ability to grasp technical specifications of chemicals and consumables
- Proficient in MS Office Programs, in particular Excel
- Good time management and organization skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
