Position Overview
The Creative Head – Social Media will lead the school's digital presence by developing innovative content strategies, managing social media platforms, and overseeing the creation of engaging visual and written content. The role requires a creative professional with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of social media trends, and the ability to build and maintain a compelling online brand that reflects the values and achievements of the institution.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Brand Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the school's branding and communication objectives.
- Strengthen and maintain the school's digital identity across all social media platforms.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand guidelines across all digital content.
- Identify emerging social media trends and recommend innovative campaigns to increase engagement and reach.
Content Planning & Creative Direction
- Lead the planning, creation, and execution of creative content calendars.
- Conceptualize campaigns for admissions, academic achievements, student life, sports, events, festivals, and institutional branding.
- Direct the production of high-quality videos, reels, graphics, photography, animations, and promotional materials.
- Write or supervise the development of compelling captions, scripts, and digital copy.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor photographers, videographers, graphic designers, video editors, and social media executives.
- Allocate projects, review creative outputs, and maintain quality standards.
- Foster creativity and encourage innovative storytelling within the team.
Social Media Management
- Oversee the management of platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and other relevant channels.
- Monitor engagement, respond to trends, and optimize content performance.
- Ensure timely publishing of content according to the communication calendar.
Event Coverage
- Plan and supervise live coverage of school events, competitions, ceremonies, workshops, and celebrations.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for content collection.
- Ensure high-quality documentation of school activities through photography and videography.
Analytics & Performance
- Track social media performance using analytics tools.
- Prepare monthly reports on audience growth, engagement, reach, impressions, and campaign effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements based on data insights.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Admissions, HR, Academic, Sports, and Activity departments to promote school initiatives.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and influencers whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Journalism, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or creative leadership.
- Experience in leading creative teams is preferred.
- Prior experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
