Buildexa is looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead the execution of pile foundation and structural construction works for an ongoing project in Chidambaram. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of structural drawings, site execution, quality control, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage pile foundation and structural construction activities.
- Interpret and execute structural, foundation, and reinforcement drawings accurately.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed as per project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct quantity verification, material planning, and site measurements.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
- Monitor labor productivity and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Resolve technical issues at the site and provide engineering solutions.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with consultants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in pile foundation and structural construction.
- Strong knowledge of structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and execution methodology.
- Experience in RCC works, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and related structural activities.
- Good understanding of quality control and safety practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD drawings and MS Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling complete structural execution independently.
- Knowledge of surveying and leveling instruments.
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
