Job Role:-
Samaritan Mission School (High) a unit of Samaritan Help Mission (Govt. Reg. NGO) is seeking a dynamic, qualified, and enthusiastic Higher Secondary Teacher for Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS) to deliver the updated WBCHSE curriculum for Classes XI and XII. The ideal candidate will have strong technical fundamentals in Python, data analysis, and machine learning concepts, alongside a passion for mentoring students through theoretical instruction and hands-on lab projects.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach theoretical and practical concepts of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science in alignment with the latest WBCHSE Class 11 and 12 syllabus.
- Practical Training: Conduct computer laboratory sessions covering Python programming, data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy), data visualization, SQL/databases, and fundamental Machine Learning algorithms.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Design internal test papers, assignments, and practical mock tests; evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Board Examination Preparation: Prepare students for the WBCHSE Higher Secondary practical and theory examinations, guiding them through project work and lab files as mandated by the Council.
- Curriculum Enrichment: Stay updated with technological trends and council updates to integrate real-world applications and project-based learning into the classroom.
Required Qualifications & Skills:-
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Data Science; OR
- M.Sc. in Computer Science / Data Science / Statistics; OR
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
- Note: A B.Ed. degree is preferred as per school policies.
- Proficiency in Python (core concepts, object-oriented programming, and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn).
- Strong foundational knowledge of data management, SQL, probability, statistics, and basic AI concepts (NLP, Computer Vision basics, ML models).
- Teaching Experience: Fresh graduates with strong subject expertise and communication skills are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualities:-
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to guide students through hands-on project work and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with council guidelines and mark distribution patterns of WBCHSE.
