About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Specialist Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for someone who wants to gain practical experience in Search Engine Optimization and understand how SEO contributes to website visibility, organic traffic, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.
- Assist in on-page SEO activities, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and content optimization.
- Support off-page SEO activities such as backlink research and link-building strategies.
- Perform basic technical SEO audits and identify issues affecting website performance and search visibility.
- Optimize website content based on SEO best practices and search intent.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO performance metrics.
- Assist with competitor analysis and identify opportunities to improve search rankings.
- Work with the content team to ensure blogs and website content are SEO-friendly.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, and SEO tools for research and analysis.
- Stay updated with major Google algorithm updates and current SEO trends.
- Prepare basic SEO reports and communicate findings to the team.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine optimization.
- Familiarity with keyword research and website content optimization.
- Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is preferred.
- Understanding of HTML and website structure is a plus.
- Good analytical and research skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
