Safe House Fire Engineering Services is looking for a Project / Site Supervisor for firefighting system works.
The Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising all on-site firefighting installation activities such as hydrant, sprinkler, and fire alarm systems. The role includes supervising workers, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of work as per drawings and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision
- Supervise daily firefighting installation work on site
- Manage fitters, welders, helpers, electricians, etc.
- Plan daily and weekly work activities
- Ensure work is done as per approved drawings and specifications
Quality Control
- Ensure work quality as per company standards, IS codes, NBC, and Fire Department norms
- Check materials and workmanship regularly
- Rectify any defects or deviations immediately
Safety Management
- Enforce site safety rules and PPE usage
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Identify hazards and prevent accidents
- Report accidents or near-miss incidents
Material Management
- Coordinate with stores for timely material supply
- Check received materials with delivery challans
- Ensure proper storage and minimum wastage
- Track material usage and shortages
Coordination & Communication
- Act as site-level contact person
- Coordinate with Project Manager / Engineer
- Coordinate with client, consultants, and other contractors
- Communicate clearly with site staff
Problem Solving & Support:
- Identify and resolve routine site-level technical issues and challenges.
- Escalate complex technical or contractual issues to the Project Manager/Engineer for resolution.
- Assist engineers during system testing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning phases.
Progress Reporting
- Monitor daily work progress
- Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR)
- Maintain attendance, material, and site records
- Inform management about delays or issues
Testing & Commissioning Support
- Assist during pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning
- Solve routine site problems and escalate major issues
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- Any Degree
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical /Auto mobile/ Civil Engineering OR
- Experience:
- 1–3 years’ experience in firefighting system installation
- Supervisory Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate site labor effectively. Good planning and organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in Marathi and Hindi are essential for managing local labor and site coordination. Basic understanding/communication in English for reading drawings and potentially reporting.

- Reading drawings and layouts
- Knowledge of IS codes, NBC, fire norms
- Skills:
- Good team handling and supervision
- Strong safety awareness
- Problem-solving ability
- Marathi & Hindi communication (English basic)
- computer skills for report generation (MS Word/Excel).
- Other Requirements:
- Two-wheeler license
- Ready to travel within Sangli–Miraj region
- Flexible working hours

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
