Role Summary
The Assistant Manager – Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all HR functions, including recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, payroll support, employee engagement, manpower planning, compliance, and HR reporting. The role requires ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies and procedures while supporting organizational objectives and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and staffing activities.
- Oversee employee onboarding, documentation, and record management.
- Ensure maintenance of employee files and HR databases.
- Monitor statutory and employee-related compliance requirements.
- Supervise leave, attendance, and employee records management.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and salary administration processes.
- Manage employee loans, advances, and related documentation.
- Support manpower planning and workforce optimization initiatives.
- Administer employee performance-related processes, including confirmations, increments, promotions, appreciations, and disciplinary actions.
- Handle employee grievances and support employee relations initiatives.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
- Manage employee separation processes, including resignations, terminations, and Full & Final Settlements.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
- Maintain and update HR systems, records, and organizational databases.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies on HR-related matters.
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Perform additional HR and administrative responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and HR reporting tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
Experience
- 3–4 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to HR Operations, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and HR Administration.
