Due to our continued success in securing large-scale and complex projects, we are now looking for an experienced Senior Electrical 3D Designer to join our growing Bangalore office.

Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities
-
Detailed Design and Co-Ordination of Electrical Systems in accordance with international standards and current best industry practice.
-
Co-ordination and Planning of Space management, Electrical Equipment, Cable Containment and associated LV and ELV Systems
-
Provide technical support and assistance to Lead/ Senior Electrical Engineers
-
Work as part of a multidiscipline team on projects
-
Implementation specific site and company quality & design Standards
-
Chair design reviews both with project team and client
-
Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings
-
Participate in Clash Checking and Resolution
-
Space management and execute 3D coordinated detail design
-
Coordination with other PM Group offices to understand work scope, design execution, schedule and resource planning
A working knowledge of the following design applications is essential:

AutoDesk Revit;
-
AutoDesk Navisworks
-
AutoDesk AutoCAD
-
DIALux Lighting Design Software
Knowledge of the following design applications would be advantageous:

Caneco One – Electrical Engineering Software Suite
-
SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL)

ETAP – Electrical Modelling Software

We would like to hear from candidates who have:
-
A degree in Electrical Engineering.
-
12+ years’ experience with an EPC firm working on electrical 3D Design
-
Tools: Revit / E3D/ SP3D
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
-
Experience to Lead a team of designers and execute Electrical 3D Design scope of work.
-
A strong ethical approach to safety, quality and sustainable design
-
Knowledge of applicable electrical engineering codes, standards and current industry best practices
-
Ability to Co-ordinate with design team and external stakeholders
-
Demonstrable experience in the complete suite of electrical engineering 3D Design

MV and LV Power Distribution
-
Electrical equipment layout
-
UPS systems and Generators
-
Earthing & Bonding
-
Cable containment system design
-
Lighting & Emergency Lighting System,
-
General Power Systems
-
Fire Alarm Systems
-
Security Systems
-
Lightning Protection Systems
-
Small power layout
-
Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage.
