About the Role
St. Xavier's High School is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Primary English Teacher to nurture young learners by developing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The ideal candidate should create an engaging, child-friendly classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to primary school students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate lessons.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, and examinations.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and progress reports.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Encourage creativity through storytelling, phonics, reading activities, and language games.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure student safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Skills Required
- Excellent English language proficiency.
- Strong phonics and grammar teaching skills.
- Child-centered teaching approach.
- Creativity in lesson planning and classroom activities.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching young learners.

Experience
- Freshers with strong communication and teaching skills are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience teaching primary classes is preferred.
Salary
- Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
