Type: Full-Time Reports To: Farm Manager / Senior Manager Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and technically sound Farm Supervisor to independently manage the day-to-day operations of our 10-acre commercial farm, comprising high-tech polyhouses and open-field cultivation. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of floriculture and modern farming practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure maximum productivity, crop quality, and efficient utilization of farm resources. Educational Qualification B.Sc. Agriculture (Mandatory) M.Sc. Agriculture / Horticulture (Preferred) Experience Minimum 2–5 years of experience in commercial farming. Hands-on experience in polyhouse cultivation is mandatory. Experience in commercial floriculture will be highly preferred. Preferred Crop Experience Protected Cultivation (Polyhouse): Lilium, Gypsophila, Chrysanthemum, Eustoma, Limonium, Carnation, Gerbera. Open Field: Vegetables, fruit crops, and seasonal crops. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and supervise all daily farm operations. Lead and manage farm labour, assign daily work, and monitor productivity. Manage crop production from land preparation to harvesting. Monitor irrigation, fertigation, nutrient management, and crop health. Implement IPM and IDM practices for pest and disease control. Maintain polyhouses, irrigation systems, farm equipment, and infrastructure. Ensure timely harvesting, grading, packing, and post-harvest handling. Maintain records of labour, inputs, harvest, inventory, and production. Monitor stock of fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and farm consumables. Ensure safe handling of agrochemicals and compliance with farm SOPs. Coordinate with management regarding planning and operational requirements. Promote cost-effective farming practices and maintain farm cleanliness and safety. Required Skills Strong knowledge of crop management, floriculture, polyhouse farming, irrigation, fertigation and plant nutrition. Leadership, planning, problem-solving, and team management skills. Good communication and reporting skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, and digital & Manual reporting). Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
