Purchase Manager

About the Role
Dishara BuildTech is looking for a Purchase Manager who can take ownership of end to end procurement for our construction projects. The role requires strong vendor management, negotiation skills, commercial understanding, and the ability to ensure timely availability of materials at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of construction materials, consumables, equipment, and project requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and commercial conditions.
- Coordinate closely with Project, Stores, Finance, and Management to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Ensure purchases are made against approved Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
- Maintain the Purchase Register, Vendor Database, Quotation Comparisons, and procurement records.
- Track open POs, deliveries, pending materials, and vendor commitments.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost saving and alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure procurement documentation and processes are compliant with company policies.
- Resolve vendor related issues concerning quality, delivery, billing, and payments.
- Support project teams during urgent and critical material requirements.
What We're Looking For
Education: Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in construction procurement, infrastructure, real estate, or engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials and local supplier markets will be preferred.
