We are seeking a highly experienced and result oriented Project Engineer Electrical to lead and manage all aspects of electrical substation and power distribution projects. The ideal candidate must possess at least 4 years of hands-on experience in erection, testing, and commissioning of 33/22kV, substations, distribution transformer centres (DTCs), overhead lines (33kV, 11kV, LT), and Internal& amp; external electrification work for Greenfield /Brownfield industrial, Commercial & Data centre project setup. Strong computer proficiency, leadership, and communication skills are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, monitor, and close electrical projects in accorda ce with scope, budget, and schedule.
Supervise and ensure high-quality erection, testing, and commissioning of:
33/22kV substations
Internal & external electrification work for Greenfield /Brownfield Industrial ,Data Center, plant setup.
Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and site teams for timely execution.
Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety regulations, quality standards, and industry
codes.
Manage project documentation including technical drawings, progress reports, and approvals.
Handle technical issues and lead troubleshooting efforts effectively.
Prepare and review technical specifications, BOQs, and project schedules.
Lead teams of supervisors, and contractors with effective team and resource management.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure performance and safety standards are met.
Interface with clients and stakeholders for project reporting and coordination.
Monitor project budgets and control project costs efficiently.
Maintain professional and timely correspondence with clients to ensure alignment,
approvals, and satisfaction throughout all project phases.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in electrical project engineering.
Strong knowledge of applicable IS/IEC standards, electrical codes, and safety procedures.
Required Skills:
In-depth technical knowledge electrical engineering & electrical substation, industrial projects.
MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
AutoCAD (for electrical drawings and layout planning)
MS Project / Primavera (preferred for scheduling)
Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure in a deadline-driven
environment.
