Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machine Operator to operate and maintain CNC turning machines for manufacturing precision medical device components. The candidate should have experience in machining stainless steel, titanium, and other engineering materials while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Lathe/Turning machines.
- Load raw material and set up tools.
- Read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform machine setting, offset adjustment, and tool changes.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy according to engineering drawings.
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities.
- Maintain production records and daily machine logs.
- Follow SOPs, GMP, ISO 13485, and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S on the shop floor.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience operating CNC Lathe machines.
- Experience in medical device, precision engineering, automotive, aerospace, or surgical instrument manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of:
- CNC Turning Operations
- Tool Offsets
- Fanuc Controller (preferred)
- GD&T basics
- Engineering Drawing Reading
- Measuring Instruments
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience machining SS 304, SS 316L, Titanium, PEEK, or Aluminum.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming (G-Code/M-Code) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive machine maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
Salary
₹12,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
