Hello Teacher Academy (HTA) is a premium online one-on-one tutoring academy serving 1,000+ students across the UAE, India, and the global Indian diaspora. We specialise in international and Indian curricula — IBDP, IGCSE, GCSE, A-Levels, MYP, VCE, CBSE, ICSE, and the Australian Curriculum — and work with 200+ specialist tutors carefully selected for subject expertise and teaching quality.

We are looking for a Business Development & Lead Generation Specialist who knows the EdTech landscape, understands the mindset of parents seeking premium tutoring, and can open doors to the communities where our ideal students live — without compromising our brand.
This is a ground-floor opportunity: you will build the lead generation function at HTA from scratch, own your strategy, and be directly rewarded for every student enrolment you generate.
What You Will Do
- Identify, engage, and convert high-quality leads across expat parent communities, Indian diaspora networks, and international school ecosystems
- Build and nurture relationships with online parent communities, school counsellors, community admins, and education influencers
- Develop and execute a structured outbound lead generation strategy — with targets, channels, and timelines — with minimal supervision
- Represent HTA's brand authentically; every interaction must reflect our values of quality, trust, and academic integrity
- Track lead sources, conversion rates, and pipeline activity; report clearly on what is working and what is not
- Collaborate with the founder to refine messaging for different audiences and markets
- Work towards monthly enrolment targets tied to performance incentives
What We Are Looking For
Non-negotiable:
- Prior experience in EdTech — you must understand how parents research and select tutoring or educational services
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or lead generation (not just marketing)
- Familiarity with expat parent communities, Indian diaspora networks, or international school ecosystems
- Self-starter: you will be given the product and the brand — the strategy must come from you
- Ethical approach to lead generation — no spamming, no misrepresentation, no pressure tactics
Preferred:
- Experience working with or selling to NRI or Gulf-based Indian families
- Understanding of international curricula (IB, IGCSE, A-Levels, CBSE, ICSE)
- Existing network within parent or school communities
- Experience with performance-based or commission-linked roles
Compensation
- Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
- Performance incentive per confirmed student enrolment — the more you bring in, the more you earn
