Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical components, fixtures, and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have strong knowledge in CAD tools, GD&T, and BOM preparation to support efficient product development and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and mechanical components
- Create 2D & 3D models using SolidWorks
- Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) in design drawings
- Design and develop fixtures for manufacturing and assembly processes
- Collaborate with production and quality teams for design improvements
- Ensure designs meet functional, quality, and cost requirements
Key Skills Required:
- Knowledge of SPM (Special Purpose Machine) design
- Experience in BOM preparation
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Experience in Fixture Design
Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–4 years of experience in mechanical design
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
