JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a category manager for marketing. Candidates should know the art and science of translating business challenges to marketing solutions. Candidate should have min. 5-6 years of experience either in financial sector or in B2C and B2B2C marketing domain. Domain understanding of financial products is a must. The responsibilities will include driving category expansion, brand building in the category and product marketing across the various life insurance channels. The core purpose of this role is to build overall marketing strategy that will position Axis Max Life Insurance as a preferred life insurance solution provider within the category.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Category Development through Thought Leadership Platforms
Strategize, develop, and implement initiatives to establish the brand as a thought leader in the life insurance category by building lasting marketing platforms
Identify and leverage opportunities for participation in media platforms like industry conferences, seminars, and forums to enhance the brand's thought leadership and share of voice in that category
Drive awareness around the category with sellers internally via channels like agency, Bancassurance and other brokers to aid category growth
2. Brand Development and preference building in the Category
Develop and execute end-to-end brand campaigns aligned with the brand's philosophy, ensuring best in class visibility and consideration for the segment
Collaborate across functions including insights, products, operations, strategy, and business internally to arrive at sharp narratives for the brand
Collaborate with creative partners to create compelling communication that resonates with the target audience
3. Product Marketing
Work closely with the Cross-functional Group in the organization for product launches to design & develop product launch positioning in line with market trends, consumer behavior and differentiation against competition
Build Go-to-market strategies for new products and existing revived products
Work consistently with cross-functional teams to manage the product marketing calendar to aid pre-aligned product mix for the organization
Champion all below the line, digital and experiential marketing initiatives and adept at building content married to requirements on channel, objective & purchase stage
4. Compliance and Regulatory
Liaise with compliance with regulatory approvals on content and communication
Ensure adherence to regulatory modifications
Ensure zero business impact because of regulatory changes or campaign changes
Ensure every content piece is in adherence to IRDAI guidelines and are duly filed with IRDAI
Develop, manage, and optimize the category budget ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI
Regularly monitor and report on budget utilization, adjusting as required
