Role Summary
The Sr. Manager – Finance and Accounts will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company,
including accounting, statutory compliance, budgeting, costing, MIS reporting, treasury, and internal controls. This is a
hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge combined with strategic business partnering
skills, ideally with prior exposure to the chemical/process manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting -
- Handling day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely closure of books (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Facing Internal and external Auditors and finalization of accounts.
- Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory/regulatory requirements
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities
- Ensure LLP specific compliance requirements (ROC filings, LLP agreements, partner capital accounts)
Budgeting, Costing & MIS
- Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards to management
Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital requirements
- Oversee fund planning, credit facilities, and relationships with banks/financial institutions
- Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory financing
Business Partnering & Leadership
Act as a strategic advisor to the management team on financial planning and business decisions- Support pricing, capex evaluation, and investment decisions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team
- Coordinate with plant/operations teams for cost control and process efficiency inputs
