Key Responsibilities
- Handle customs documentation for import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with Customs officials for examination, assessment, and clearance of cargo.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT norms, and company policies.
- Liaise with transporters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and CHA teams for cargo movement.
- Monitor cargo status and ensure timely movement within the CFS.
- Maintain records of customs transactions, duty payments, and shipment details.
- Resolve shipment-related issues and coordinate for quick clearance.
- Assist in customs audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Update internal systems and prepare operational reports as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Logistics, Shipping, or Commerce background).
- 4–8 years of experience in customs operations, CHA, shipping, logistics, or CFS operations.
- Good understanding of customs procedures and documentation.
- Knowledge of ICEGATE, EDI systems, and customs regulations.
Working Conditions
- Field coordination within CFS and customs areas.
- May require extended hours depending on shipment schedules and customs operations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
