**Position:** Design Engineer
**Work Location:**Mohali Punjab ( No relocating Candidate )
**Qualification Required:**
* BE Mechanical, PG Diploma/Degree in Packaging Industry.
**Experience Required:**
* 0–2 years of Experience in paper-based packaging products Design.
### **Role:**
The key job responsibilities of this role are:
1. Understand customer needs and requirement through design brief
2. Design new packaging solutions
3. Conceptualise product description and design of products using CAD/Solid Works
4. Produce and test product prototypes
5. Research new product ideas and methods
6. Improve existing products
7. Ensure compliance with the customer's packaging standards
8. Maintain accurate records
9. Ensure products are user-friendly and meet customer requirements
10. Write detailed value proposals and presentations
11. Find creative design solutions to problems
12. Work together with sales and production team to establish feasible designs
13. Do costing as per company format and client requirement

### **Skills & Attributes Required:**
1. Be creative and a problem-solver
2. Previous experience as a Design Engineer or a similar role
3. Proven experience using CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is a must
4. Good understanding of design concepts and feasibility of usage
5. Ability to present in front of stakeholders and managers
6. Good oral and written communication
7. Attention to detail
8. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or B.Sc in product design or a similar field
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
