Job Description – SEO Intern
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern who is eager to learn and grow in the field of Search Engine Optimization. The intern will work closely with the digital marketing team to improve website rankings, traffic, and overall online visibility.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in on-page SEO activities (meta tags, headings, content optimization)
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Support off-page SEO activities (link building, directory submissions)
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly content
- Perform basic technical SEO checks
- Track rankings, traffic, and prepare reports
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
- Work with content and web development teams
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts
- Knowledge of Google Search Console & Google Analytics (basic)
- Understanding of keywords, backlinks, and SERPs
- Basic knowledge of on-page & off-page SEO
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Good analytical and communication skills
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of content writing
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest – basic)
- Understanding of WordPress
- Excel / Google Sheets knowledge
