Job Responsibilities
1. Overall Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing, coordinating, and executing installation, testing, and commissioning activities for all EM&I systems at project sites while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely completion.
- Reviewing construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications related to electrical and mechanical systems.
- Assisting in planning and scheduling electro-mechanical activities in line with project timelines.
- Ensuring timely delivery and successful completion of projects within the approved budget.
2. Operational Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for execution of all electro-mechanical works at project sites.
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, technical standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor quality of workmanship and materials used at site.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, applicable standards (IS, NBC, IEC), and safety norms.
- Coordinate with consultants, client representatives, and third-party inspectors for approvals and inspections.
- Prepare method statements and checklists for testing and commissioning activities.
- Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for MEP systems, including documentation and client sign-offs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during testing and commissioning stages.
- Maintain daily site reports, inspection reports, test reports, and material submittals.
- Track EM&I progress and report delays, risks, or critical issues to the project management team.
- Maintain as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
- Support the procurement team in technical evaluation of EM&I materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and OEMs for timely delivery and technical support.
3. Team Responsibilities
- Assist the Reporting Manager in day-to-day activities including planning, coordination, monitoring, correspondence, and administrative work.
- Coordinate effectively with project teams, inter-departments, RO, HO, PMC, and clients for timely project decisions.
- Maintain positive team dynamics and support team members.
- Assist in training and development of junior staff and subordinates.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems
- Understanding of testing & commissioning procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and BOQs
- Good coordination and reporting skills
- Familiarity with IS, NBC, IEC standards
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Experience in construction/project execution preferred
Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
