Job Summary: The Manager - Finance will be the head of the finance function, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, compliance, taxation, and management information systems (MIS). This is a critical leadership role that will partner with the CEO to drive business strategy, ensure financial integrity, and support the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Management: Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Budgeting & Financial Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process and strategic financial planning. Monitor financial performance against budget to guide decision-making.
- Compliance & Taxation: Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI. Manage all tax filings and audits.
- Accounts & Operations Management: Supervise the Accounts team, overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll functions. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Management Information Systems (MIS): Develop and deliver comprehensive MIS reports that provide a holistic view of the business, integrating data from sales, production, inventory, and finance to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational efficiency.
- Risk Management & Audits: Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate and manage all internal and external audits.
- Treasury & Working Capital: Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and maintain banking relationships to support the company's financial health.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field is required. A Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA qualification is highly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience within the manufacturing sector, especially chemicals or industrials, is highly preferred.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
- Strong proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a 8-10 member team
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
