### Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and qualified **Mechanical QA/QC Engineer** to oversee and manage quality assurance and quality control activities both at our project sites and vendor shops. The ideal candidate will ensure that all fabrication, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT) activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and international codes and standards.
### Key Responsibilities
* **Inspection & Testing:** Lead site and vendor shop inspections, including receipt inspections, visual and dimensional checks, fit-up inspections, and final weld visual assessments.
* **Welding Quality Control:** Prepare and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). Oversee welder qualification performance tests and maintain strict electrode/filler metal control.
* **NDT & Hydro Testing:** Coordinate and witness Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) including RT, UT, DPT, and MPT. Witness and certify hydro testing and Positive Material Identification (PMI) inspections.
* **Documentation & Compliance:** Review Material Test Certificates (MTC). Prepare and implement Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQP), Site Quality Plans (SQP), and detailed test procedures.
* **Surface Preparation:** Monitor and inspect painting and coating activities to ensure compliance with specified DFT (Dry Film Thickness) and quality standards.
### Required Knowledge & Expertise
* **Fabrication:** Strong inspection knowledge of Piping, Storage Tanks, and Structural fabrication.
* **Codes & Standards:** In-depth working knowledge of international codes, specifically **ASME Section V** (Non-destructive Examination), **ASME Section VIII** (Pressure Vessels), and **ASME Section IX** (Welding and Brazing Qualifications).
### Candidate Profile & Qualifications
* **Education:** Full-Time (AICTE approved) Degree or Diploma in **Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy Engineering**.
* **Certifications:** Must hold valid **ASNT Level II** certifications in:
* Radiographic Testing (RT)
* Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
* Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT)
* Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT)
* Visual Testing (VT)
* **Experience:**
* *For Degree Holders:* Minimum **4 years** of relevant experience.
* *For Diploma Holders:* Minimum **5 years** of relevant experience.
* **Age Limit:** 25 – 30 years.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per year
