Job Description – Purchase Officer (Civil)Job Summary
The Purchase Officer – Civil is responsible for procuring construction materials, equipment, and services required for civil projects. The role ensures timely purchasing, cost control, vendor management, and smooth coordination with project teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Procure civil construction materials as per project requirements.
· Source and evaluate vendors; obtain quotations and negotiate prices.
· Prepare cost comparative sheets.
· Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
· Coordinate with project teams and suppliers for timely material delivery.
· Monitor order status and resolve delivery or quality issues.
· Maintain vendor records, purchase documents, and procurement reports.
· Coordinate with Accounts for invoice verification and vendor payments.
· Monitor inventory levels and support cost-saving initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
· Market study and vendor visits.
· Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
· Certification in Procurement/Supply Chain is an added advantage.
Experience
· 3–6 years of experience in civil construction procurement.
· Experience in construction, infrastructure, real estate, or EPC companies is preferred.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
