Job Description – Piping Designer / E3D Piping Modeller
Location: Mumbai / Pune
Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer / E3D Piping Modeller with strong expertise in AVEVA E3D to support engineering design projects across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, and related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D piping models, layouts, and isometrics using AVEVA E3D.
- Perform piping routing and clash detection in a 3D modelling environment.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, P&IDs, and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
- Design piping layouts considering equipment, structures, and safety clearances.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Structural, and Electrical teams.
- Support stress analysis teams with layout inputs and modifications.
- Develop pipe supports, racks, and equipment connectivity layouts.
- Participate in model reviews and constructability assessments.
- Update drawings based on site inputs and as-built modifications.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and project specifications.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design/modelling.
- Strong hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of PDMS / SP3D / AutoCAD / Plant 3D.
- Experience in Oil & Gas / EPC / Petrochemical / Chemical projects.
- Understanding of P&IDs, piping layouts, and routing practices.
- Knowledge of piping codes & international standards (ASME, ANSI, etc.).
- Experience in pipe supports, nozzle orientation, and equipment layout interfacing.
- Familiarity with clash detection and 3D model coordination.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to stress analysis coordination.
- Experience in offshore/onshore projects or plant design.
- Knowledge of laser scan / point cloud integration (added advantage).

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
