Reporting To-Senior Flavorist / R&D Manager
Job Summary
The Junior Flavorist supports the development, evaluation, and optimization of product. The role involves sensory evaluation, documentation, and assisting senior flavorists in product creation and customer projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and modifying formulations according to customer and project requirements.
- Support flavour matching and flavour optimization activities.
- Prepare laboratory flavour samples and maintain formulation records.
- Monitor inventory of laboratory raw materials.
- Participate in sensory panels and sensory evaluations.
- Record sensory observations.
- Prepare laboratory blends using standard operating procedures.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Support stability studies and shelf-life evaluations.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production, Procurement, and Sales teams for product and sample dispatch.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in flavours, food ingredients, essential oils, or food manufacturing are preferred.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of flavour chemistry.
- Understanding of food ingredients and flavour applications.
- Basic sensory evaluation skills.
- Good laboratory practices.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
