Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Instrument Engineer with basic to intermediate knowledge of industrial instrumentation and automation systems. The ideal candidate should have exposure to Allen-Bradley products and be eager to learn, support project execution, and participate in commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments
- Work with PLC, HMI, and automation systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Support PLC panel wiring, loop checking, and testing activities
- Assist in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modifications
- Read and interpret P&ID diagrams, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings
- Participate in site commissioning and troubleshooting
- Prepare basic technical documentation and reports
- Coordinate with design, commissioning, and maintenance teams
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and automation products
- Understanding of industrial instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level)
- Basic PLC concepts, control logic, and signal types
- Ability to read instrumentation and electrical drawings
- Willingness to work at project sites when required
- Good communication and learning attitude
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to SCADA or HMI systems
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
- Hands-on experience through projects, internships, or training
