We are seeking a high-caliber Senior DevOps Advisor / Engineer to join our AI-driven cloud optimization platform team. In this role, you will not only architect and manage enterprise-scale cloud environments but also serve as a critical "Human-in-the-loop" advisor. You will collaborate with sophisticated Agentic AI systems to analyze infrastructure, validate automated recommendations, and drive global cloud cost optimization strategies.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned DevOps professional to lead at the intersection of Cloud Engineering, FinOps, and Artificial Intelligence.
-
AI Advisory & Validation: Act as a senior advisor supervising AI-driven infrastructure insights. Critically analyze and validate AI-generated recommendations for cloud architecture, security, and cost.
-
Agentic AI Integration: Implement and optimize the use of Agentic AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex) within the DevOps lifecycle to automate IaC generation, documentation, and troubleshooting.
-
Cloud Optimization & FinOps: Lead enterprise-wide cost analysis and optimization initiatives. Utilize tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Azure Cost Management to implement rightsizing, autoscaling, and waste reduction strategies.
-
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
-
AIOps Leadership: Improve AI decision-making systems through continuous feedback, tuning, and rigorous technical validation.
-
Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical insights and AI-driven recommendations into business-friendly advisory reports for executive stakeholders.
-
Experience: 8-15 years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles (Consulting/Advisory experience is a strong plus).
-
Cloud Platforms: Expert-level proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
-
Agentic AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience using Claude 3.5/Opus, GitHub Copilot, and Codex to enhance engineering productivity and automate complex tasks.
-
Containerization: Mastery of Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE), Docker, and Helm.
-
CI/CD: Deep experience designing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
-
Cost Management Tools: Advanced knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud billing analysis tools.
-
Security: Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and automated security gating.
-
Critical Thinking: The ability to challenge AI-generated outputs and ensure they meet enterprise security and reliability standards.
-
Analytical Mindset: Expert at interpreting data-driven insights to make strategic infrastructure decisions.
-
Adaptability: Passion for staying at the forefront of AI-assisted operations (AIOps) and emerging DevOps technologies.
The ideal candidate is a Senior DevOps Engineer (8–15 years) who has transitioned into a strategic advisory role. You should be as comfortable writing complex Terraform modules as you are evaluating the reliability of an AI agent's infrastructure tuning recommendations. You must have a proven track record in cloud cost optimization and a forward-thinking approach to integrating AI into the modern DevOps toolkit.
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
-
Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), and FinOps Certified Practitioner.
